Contrary to popular belief, Vegas is a lot more than just the Strip. Some places in the valley have more places than others, so if you're a big eater, listen up! These areas and the amount of restaurants in each area are listed below:
Paradise - 1590
Spring Valley - 1382
City of Las Vegas - 1096
Henderson - 583
North Las Vegas - 535
Las Vegas Strip - 716
West Side - 498
Variety
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world." -J.R.R. Tolkien
Vegas delivers a great variety of foods to satisfy people with different food preferences. American food, of course, (closely succeeded by fast food) is the most common types of food offered in Vegas, but it is not just limited to that. Whatever food you can think of, we probably have here. Vegas offers many different Asian (289 restaurants), Mexican (435 restaurants), Italian (330), and much, much more! Some popular fast food places include, but are not limited to, In-N-Out burger, Chipotle, Raising Canes, and White Castle. If you're looking for a more luxurious place to eat in Sin City, there are also the Wynn Buffet and Wicked Spoon, both places that you have to try at least once in your life. Of course, there is so much more to Vegas food areas that are not included and there is only one way to experience them for yourself. So get out and get eating! (BUT WAIT!)
Eating in Moderation
While all of these places listed are very tempting, it is important to remember to eat at these various chains in moderation. While the food availability in each area may be beneficial in a sense, it can also cause some negative consequences. Las Vegas currently hovers at about a 25% obesity rate, which is a staggering and concerning number. While food is amazing, food in moderation is the best for your health. Eating out in moderation is a perfect way for you to reward yourself after exercising and working hard, while also ensuring that the possible negative health effects don't occur.
